Design/Build Alternative Energy Class with Zach Springer of Build Something Together Mon/Fri 10:15-12:35 in 4th Ave Building #40-09 Portland State CRN# 46337 Make machines that can capture energy from running on a treadmill or riding a bike! Each day will be divided into two parts: class time and shop time. During class time we will discuss ideas around the implications of alternative energy, sustainability, and self-sufficiency. Shop time will be used for learning how to use tools and making projects. No prior building experience necessary. All students will host workshops on building their machines at the Sea Change Gallery, and all projects will be on display in a group show.
